Brooklyn Sudano is a stunning actress with the beauty, pedigree, and raw versatile talent that has put her on track to becoming one of Hollywood’s shooting stars. Born in Los Angeles to DonnaSummer and Bruce Sudano, in her early teens, Brooklyn’s family relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. There she began to more seriously tap into her creative talents, which included everything from singing, dancing, acting, and choreography, to learning the guitar and writing original songs. Also excelling academically, Brooklyn was her high school’s valedictorian.
After a short stay at Vanderbilt University, her passion for performing led her to the famed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City, where she honed her skills with a full curriculum of scene study, voice, movement, and on-camera classes.
While attending Strasberg, Brooklyn was spotted by a booker from Ford Modeling Agency, who quickly signed her. She landed major print campaigns and commercials for Clairol, Burger King, K-Mart, and Clean & Clear.
Her studies proved fruitful, when shortly thereafter, Brooklyn got her big break with the role of Vanessa in the ABC hit primetime show, “My Wife and Kids.” After two seasons as a series regular, Brooklyn’s career continued to flourish with lead roles in “Rain” (2006), playing opposite two legends, Faye Dunaway and Robert Loggia, “Somebody Help Me” (2007), two pilots (Sy-Fy’s “Revolution” in 2008 & ABC’s “Limelight” in 2009), and several guest starring roles along the way (“CSI-NY,” “90210,” “Without A Trace,” and “The Unit” to name a few).
More recently Brooklyn played the role of Malika in the MTV film, “Turn The Beat Around” (2010), guest starred on “$#*! My Dad Says” and the upcoming Fox comedy, “Friends With Benefits,” and has wrapped the independent films “Five Star Day,” “Sinners & Saints,” and “Five Hours South.”
Brooklyn currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
